PORTSMOUTH, Ohio. – The Lindsey Wilson women's tennis team rolled over Shawnee State (Ohio.) 4-0 on Friday afternoon in Mid-South Conference action.

Parisa Rachdanone and Anastasiia Ivanchenko opened doubles play with a 6-0 sweep of Katelyn Pauley and McKenzie Harmon during the No. 3 match. Alexandra Parra and Lucia Mora claimed the doubles point when they made quick work of Claire Carruthers and Elizabeth Scott in the top-seeded match 6-0.

Reshma Challarapu and Salome Sposetti played the final match, winning 6-2 over Lacey Urban and Lexy Urban.

Darija Mladenovic kicked off singles play with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Urban as Challarapu made quick work of Scott on a similar 6-1,6-0 result. Mora claimed the decisive point in the top-seeded match when she downed Carruthers 6-3, 6-1.

Sposetti, Rachdanone, and Ivanchenko were all winning in their singles matches but they went unfinished after Lindsey Wilson took the 4-0 lead.

Lindsey Wilson returns to the court on Sunday when they compete against Thomas More (Ky.) in Crestview Hills, Kentucky. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m. CT.
