Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson women's tennis won its 11th straight while improving to 6-0 at home this season with a 6-1 win over visiting Marian (Ind.) at Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.
The No. 10-ranked Blue Raiders (14-1) captured the doubles point and five of the six singles in the win. Marian -- who is the first team in the receiving votes category in the national poll -- falls to 14-6 overall this season.
Lindsey Wilson was dominant in doubles action.
Alexandra Parra and Lucia Mora -- ranked ninth in the NAIA in doubles -- swept their match on court one while Anastasiia Ivanchenko and Parisa Rachdanone won 6-2 on court three to take the doubles point. Reshma Challarapu and Darija Mladenovic were leading their match 5-2 when the match was halted after the Blue Raiders won the first two matches to secure the point.
Mora opened singles play with a win in the second-seeded match to give the Blue Raiders the 2-0 team lead. She won her ninth straight singles match with a 7-5, 6-1 over Teodora Simion.
Marian picked up its lone win of the day with a super-set win on court three to pull within 2-1.
Lindsey Wilson won the final four matches.
Parra started the run in the top-seeded match with a 7-6 (2), 6-1 win over Betija Dusele to extend the lead to 3-1. Mladenovic recorded the decisive points on court four with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Dana Savarino.
Salome Sposetti and Ivanchenko each won their matches to close out the 6-1 win.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday, March 27, as the Blue Raiders host Tennessee Southern at Baughman Tennis Complex.
