COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson women's tennis team picked up its third consecutive win with a 6-1 victory over Bethel (Tenn.) at Henry Baughman Tennis Complex on Thursday afternoon.

In the doubles portion of the match, Anastasiia Ivanchenko and Parisa Rachdanone defeated Sophia Vasconcellos and Anabella Baralt, 6-1, as Reshma Challarapu and Darija Mladenovic downed Edisa Hot and Sofija Rajic, 6-1. The Blue Raiders swept the doubles matches with a 6-4 win by Heyka Rodriguez and Mayra Gisone over Tijana Svitlica and Marina Zotelli.

In the singles matches, Salome Sposetti downed Svitlica, 6-1, 6-1, as Mladenovic defeated Vasconcellos, 6-0, 6-3. Rachdanone then toppled Rajic, 6-3, 7-5, leading the Wildcats to then earn their first and only point of the contest with Hot taking down Challarapu, 6-1, 3-6, 6-0. Ivanchenko then defeated Zotelli, 7-5, 6-1, as Gisone downed Baralt, 7-5, 6-2, giving Lindsey Wilson the 6-1 victory.

The Blue Raiders will be back on the courts tomorrow at Henry Baughman Tennis Complex where they will take on Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) at 2 p.m. CT.
