INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Lindsey Wilson women's tennis team ended their regular season in the same city in which it began, with a 5-2 victory over (RV) Marian (Ind.) on Friday evening, at Marian University Tennis Courts.

In the doubles portion of the match, Mayra Gisone and Heyka Rodriguez (10-3) defeated Dana Savarino and Tea Vrkic, 6-3, leading into Parisa Rachdanone and Salome Sposetti (2-0) toppling the No. 22-ranked paring in Katharina Bopst and Betija Dusele, 6-2, notching the doubles point for the Blue Raiders. The No. 3 doubles match between Darija Mladenovic and Reshma Challarapu versus Emma Chrome and Isadora Muller went unfinished with the LWC pairing in front, 4-2.

In singles play, Mladenovic (13-0) took down Dusele in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2, as Sposetti (9-8) battled against Bopst, downing her 6-1, 4-6, 10-3. Rachdanone (11-3) then found herself in a back-and-forth battle against Chrome, eventually emerging victorious, 2-6, 6-3, 10-8, as the Blue Raiders collected the victory.

Anastasiia Ivanchenko (9-6), Rodriguez (6-1), and, Gisone (7-4) all picked up individual wins to tally Lindsey Wilson's second consecutive sweep.

The Blue Raiders will now look to the Mid-South Conference tournament and wait for their seeding, unfolding from April 20 to April 23 in Bowling Green, Ky. at Warren County Tennis and Sports Facility @ Buchanon Park.
