MOBILE, Ala. - The No. 12-seeded Lindsey Wilson women's tennis team opened NAIA Tournament with a 4-0 victory over No. 21 seed Cornerstone (Mich.) on Tuesday at the Mobile Tennis Center.

With the victory, the Blue Raiders will take on No. 5 seed Ave Maria (Fla.) Wednesday at 9 a.m. CT.

Parisa Rachdanone and Anastasiia Ivanchenko fell 6-1 to Ximena Matamoros and Sarah Daza at No. 1 singles. The Blue Raiders got wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to win the point. Reshma Challarapu and Darija Mladenovic won 7-5 at No. 2 doubles. Heyka Rodriguez and Mayra Gisone won 6-2 at No. 3 doubles.

Challarapu defeated Sophie Smith 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 singles. Salome Sposetti defeated Alayna Bowman 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. Rodriguez defeated Isabella Herrera 6-2, 6-4 at No. 5 singles.

The Blue Raiders are back in action on Wednesday at 9 a.m. CT against No. 5 seed Ave Maria (Fla.).
