Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky. - In a one-sided match, the men's soccer teams of Lindsey Wilson College (5-2-1) and Shawnee State (1-4-1) played to a hard-fought 0-0 draw at Walter S. Reuling Stadium-Ray Wells Field. This draw marks the first of the season for the Blue Raiders, who exhibited prowess but couldn't breach the Bears' resilient defense.
Despite the absence of goals, the Blue Raiders showcased their dominance, maintaining most of the possession and overwhelming offensive statistics. Lindsey Wilson launched 17 shots, with 6 on target, while Shawnee State managed just 8 shots, with 3 finding the mark. There were 7 corners for the home side while the visitors only had 2.
The standout performance of the evening belonged to Shawnee State's goalkeeper, Eric Green, who denied multiple attempts (6 saves), including two critical saves.
