MOBILE, Ala. – The No. 3-seeded Lindsey Wilson women's tennis team begins its quest for a national title at 9 a.m. CT on Wednesday morning, facing 14th-seeded Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) in the second round of the 2025 NAIA Women's Tennis National Championships at the Mobile Tennis Center.
The Blue Raiders (16-2) earned a first-round bye after capturing their third-straight Mid-South Conference Tournament championship and enter the tournament as one of the top seeds in the 24-team field. Lindsey Wilson is making its 20th all-time appearance at the national tournament, tied for the most in this year's field alongside SCAD Savannah (Ga.).
Our Lady of the Lake (11-12) punched its ticket to the national tournament by winning the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament. The Saints advanced to Wednesday's matchup with a 4-1 win over Oakland City (Ind.) in Tuesday's opening round.
This marks the first-ever meeting between the Blue Raiders and the Saints in national tournament play.
The winner of Wednesday's match will advance to Thursday's quarterfinals.
