COLUMBIA, Ky.- The Blue Raider flag football team is set to face (RV) Siena Heights (Mich.) on Friday at 11 A.M. CT, followed by a doubleheader on Saturday against Wittenberg (Ohio) at 8:30 A.M. CT and No. 10 Life (Ga.) at 3 P.M. CT in Campbellsville, Kentucky for the Flag Frenzy Tournament.
Lindsey Wilson (7-1) is coming off of a 27-19 victory against Cumberland (Tenn.) on Wednesday evening. Amaya Pablo leads the team in passing, completing 123-of-202 attempts for 1,676 yards and 46 touchdowns. Cadence Wermers has been the primary target for 42 receptions and 13 touchdowns.
Emily Good leads the defense in flag pulls with 55 and three sacks for a loss of 22 yards. Ashten Dickersen leads the team in interceptions with seven for 31 yards.
Siena Heights sits at 4-8 on the season with its most recent loss coming against Campbellsville (Ky.) 35-6 on Saturday. Breana Saunders leads the team in passing completing 94-of-150 attempts for 960 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. Adrian Griffin leads the team in receptions with 45 for 319 yards and two touchdowns.
Wittenberg (0-4) faced Lindsey Wilson in its last contest, dropping game one 51-6 and game two 34-0. Gabby Moore leads the team in passing, throwing for one touchdown on the season while Abby Holman leads the team in receptions with 13.
No. 10-ranked Life (Ga.) holds a 4-3 record with its most recent loss coming to Warner (Fla.) 32-20 on Monday. Cheyenne Brooke heads the passing column completing 152-of-224 attempts 1,620 yards and 14 touchdowns. Altierra Gooch leads the team in receiving touchdowns with seven on 19 receptions for 360 yards.
Flag football will face (RV) Siena Heights and No. 10 Life for the first time during the Flag Frenzy Tournament while looking to improve its record against Wittenberg to 3-0.
