COLUMBIA, Ky.- The Blue Raider flag football team is headed to Columbus, Indiana to compete against Saint Francis (Ind.) on Thursday at 10 A.M. CT followed by Cumberland (Tenn.) at 6 P.M. CT in the NAIA East Flag Football Championship, hosted at Nexus Park.
Lindsey Wilson sits at 12-2 on the season and is on a three-game winning streak after defeating Emmanuel (Ga.) 13-12 last Wednesday. Amaya Pablo leads the team in passing, completing 223-of-381 attempts for 2,688 yards, 56 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. Jenna Lindsey leads the team in touchdown receptions with 17, while Cadence Wermers tacks on 12. Defensively, Emily Good leads the team in flag pulls with 65, while tallying 15 flag pulls for loss, and five interceptions.
Saint Francis (10-4) is on a seven-game win-streak with its most recent win coming on Saturday against Wittenberg (Ohio) 48-6. Jianna Reyes heads the passing column, completing 243-of-350 attempts for 2,354 yards, 23 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. Harmony Walker is the main target in the end zone for Reyes, tallying 667 yards and six touchdowns. Defensively, Ava Cousins leads the team in flag pulls with 46, tacking on two interceptions.
Cumberland holds an 8-12 record on the season with its most recent competition coming on April 10, against Lindsey Wilson in a 33-13 loss. Madison Woodard leads the team in passing, completing 430-of-722 attempts for 4,281 yards, 56 touchdowns, and 24 interceptions. Marley Hyde leads the team in receptions with 144 for 1,550 yards and 23 touchdowns. Defensively, Ava Hourigan leads the team in flag pulls with 84, tallying six for loss, alongside three interceptions.
Thursday's meeting between Lindsey Wilson and St. Francis will be the first between the two programs in LWU's inaugural season. Lindsey Wilson and Cumberland have met twice in the 2025-26 season with the Blue Raiders taking a 27-19 victory on March 25 and a 33-13 victory on April 10.
Flag Football will face Saint Francis at 10 A.M. CT, followed by a meeting with Cumberland at 6 P.M. CT on Thursday at Nexus Park in Columbus, Indiana.
