COLUMBIA, Ky. - Lindsey Wilson flag football wasted no time making a name for itself during its inaugural season. The Blue Raiders pummeled their first three opponents 293-0 and ultimately finished the season with the NAIA's second-highest scoring average of 41.2 points per game.
The team also ranked top-10 for interceptions and defensive touchdowns.
Freshman
Amaya Pablo racked up over 3,000 yards and 60 touchdowns through the air, while rushing for 1,000 yards.
Jenna Lindsey,
Carlee Yokley, and
Cadence Wermers each caught 600 receiving yards.
Emerson Gregory,
Ashten Dickerson,
Emily Good, and
Tyria Tanner each contributed at least five interceptions and five pass breakups.
Gabby Kruse became the program's first NAIA All-American after totaling over 400 receiving yards and 40 tackles.
Lindsey Wilson made its home debut on March 13 under the lights of Parnell Family Stadium, defeating Campbellsville (Ky.) 40-13. The win over the Tigers triggered a season-long six-game winning streak as the Blue Raiders ended the year 13-4.
