COLUMBIA Ky. - The No.10 Lindsey Wilson men's soccer team return home for a top 10 matchup against No. 6-ranked West Virginia Tech at 5 p.m. CT on Monday, Sept. 14 on Ray Wells Field at Walter S. Reuling Stadium.
The Blue Raiders (3-2) are coming off a 2-1 comeback victory over Indiana Wesleyan. Yannick Maurer and Juliano Manfro scored for the Blue Raiders, tying three other Lindsey Wilson players for most goals this season. Denilson Macon leads the Blue Raiders in assists at two, and Manfro has the most points for the Blue Raiders this season at three.
Goalkeeper Zahir Garcia saved nine shots, only allowed one goal, and recorded his third win of the season against the Wildcats. Garcia on the season has 31 saves on 38 shots faced, giving him a save percentage of 0.816.
West Virginia Tech (1-0-3) are coming off their first victory of the season with a 6-1 victory against Pikeville (Ky.) The Golden Bears, the NAIA runner-up in 2025, are led offensively by Joost Hermeling, who has three goals this season. Gonzalo Sabeh has been the main distributor for WVU Tech with three assists and recording one goal. The Golden Bears goalkeeper Ramon Ferrari has 15 saves this season.
