Flag Football Releases Schedule for 2026

COLUMBIA, Ky.- Under the leadership of first-year head coach Chris Raggard, 2026 marks the beginning of an era as Lindsey Wilson adds women's flag football to the slate. 

The schedule opens in Murfreesboro, North Carolina on February 21 with a double-header facing Chowan (N.C.) at 10 A.M. CT, followed by a 12 P.M. CT match against Virginia Wesleyan. 

On February 28, the Blue Raiders will lace up their cleats and head to Ferrum for a double-header against Hollins (Va.) and Ferrum (Va.), before they make their way back to Columbia, Kentucky for the first home contest of the season, hosting Campbellsville (Ky.) on March 13, at Parnell Family Stadium. 

March holds a road series in Rockford, Illinois, where LWU will compete in the Rockford Rumble, facing Aurora (Ill.) and Illinois Wesleyan on March 20, followed by Rockford (Ill.) and Benedictine (Ill.) on March 21. On March 25, Lindsey Wilson will head to Lebanon, Tennessee to face the Phoenix of Cumberland (Tenn.), before closing out the month competing in the Flag Frenzy in Campbellsville, Kentucky, where they will meet Siena Heights (Mich.) on March 27, followed by Wittenberg (Ohio) and Life (Ga.) on March 28. 

The Blue Raiders open April with a home matchup against Milligan (Tenn.) on April 1 and two road matches against Campbellsville on April 3 and Milligan on April 8. The Blue Raiders will host Cumberland on April 10 and then head to Emmanuel (Ga.) on April 15. April 18 marks the final home game of the season when LWU hosts Aurora, before heading to Springfield, Ohio, to face Wittenberg. The Blue Raiders compete in the Group of 6 Tournament April 24-25. The NAIA National Invitational will take place on May 6-9 in Riverside, Missouri. 

Flag Football opens play against Chowan at 10 A.M. on February 21 in Rockford, Illinois and will host its first home game on March 13 against Campbellsville (Ky.) at 7 P.M. CT.
